Glory Daze started showing up at B-52 on Thursday night a couple years back. It seemed originally that there weren't many sites involved. Over time that changed, but to what extent? Glory Days on Tuesday is treated as a Premium Game, but not so on Thursdays. I presumed that some portion of the sites got Glory Daze and some got Countdown.

I don't play this particular game much. I was out last night and nobody else was playing, so I decided to check the demographics by switching from Glory Daze to Countdown in the 7 PM PDT slot.

The final tally? 760 of us were playing Glory Daze this Thursday. In the same time slot 9 of us were playing Countdown. So the switch-over has been completed.

Which leaves the question begging, why is Tuesday Glory Daze regarded as a Premium Game and Thursday Glory Daze is not? Pray, People, enlighten me.

My speculation is that the Thur GD was added in late in the evening without much thought. Just a bonus for some players that don't get out on Tues. I think when Thur GD first started it was an exact repeat of a recent Tues GD, maybe not from same week but still pretty lame. Luckily that part changed, but Thur GD is just an afterthought to Tues thus no rankings.

That sounds like the company I know and love.

It may be just my opinion, but Thursday GD is more entertainment oriented. The times that I played on Thursdays, that was definitely the case vs. Tuesdays.

It's the same game. I believe Gone D is correct.

It's the same game, a repeat on Thur of the tues game??
I thought that was remedied long ago. But of course I haven't played Tues since 1998.

Repeat games always used to bring out cries of foul. I haven't heard any, maybe no one cares.

It hasn't been the same game when I play. I also play Tuesdays.
