Answers:

1. Perez Prado [I(REACH, LESTER) wrongly pre-called Xavier Cugat who was based in Cuba and followed many trends including mambo; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perez_Prado and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xavier_Cugat . So rather than getting about 200 Points after the 3rd Clue, we three players at Buster's Bar, Ottawa ON ended up with zero. Perez Prado to me was a band leader with pop hits "Cherry Pink & Apple Blossom White" (1955) and "Patricia" (1958); see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Q4ywIHLAcQ and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtQKHYo4DGs ]

2. George Carlin [Chris (CEEZED, KAYZED) pre-called this one; see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JLoge6QzcGY (5:10).]

3. Nashville Sound [Chris (2x1000 Points) and REACH guessed right; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nashville_sound ]

4. Figure skating [I pre-called this one; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carol_Heiss , and for her performance at the 1960 U.S. National Championship, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jpKNkVpDORs ]

5. Pink Floyd [I pre-called this one; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dark_Side_of_the_Moon which is enhanced when listening on headphones in a dark room (the sound zooms back and forth through your skull, even without drugs).]

6. Earl Warren [I pre-called this one; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miranda_v._Arizona ]

7. The Collector [I pre-called this one; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Collector_(1965_film) ]

8. Green Hornet [see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kato_(The_Green_Hornet) . For Bruce Lee as Kato kicking ass, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gG1Z02Szev0 . Similarly with the TV series "Kung Fu" starring David Carradine (instead of Bruce Lee), we had to wait through 48 minutes of pacifist philosophy before the grown Grasshopper kicked some bad guy's ass. ]

9. Runaways [I called this one, so I and Dave (YELDOR, TULADI) got most of the Points; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joan_Jett ]

10. Georgia O'Keeffe [Despite a call for Jackson Pollock, I split my tablets and went with O'Keeffe as REACH because of the subject matter; see https://www.georgiaokeeffe.net/sky-above-clouds-iv.jsp ]

11. Los Angeles [We wrongly guessed New York, then Chicago, before getting about 400 Points after the 3rd Clue; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Assault_o ... (1976_film) ]

12. British [see the section "Independence (1962 to 1965) at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uganda ]

13. American Bandstand [I called this one; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bunny_hop_(dance) , https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ray_Anthony and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RajWqQaq5dE for Ray Anthony's 1952 recording. From p. 62 of "Rock 'n' Roll Dances of the 1950s" by Lisa Jo Sagolla, "From it's [sic] earliest days, Bandstand spawned dance crazes, the first of which was inspired by Ray Anthony's "Bunny Hop", a bouncy novelty tune..." (for the link, Google "ray Anthony the bunny hop American bandstand").]

14. Zenith [I wrongly called "Motorola" (which produced the first cell phone) before switching after the 3rd Clue for about 330 Points for REACH and CEEZED. See the section "Television remote controls" at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Remote_control ]

15. Smurfs [I called this one, since I knew that they were created in Belgium in the 1950s; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Smurfs ]
