I was just looking at the Hall of Fame and I was appalled by the scores.

Congrats to FECKER for the gold medal at a score of 6,799. There were a grand total of 63 players who scored 5,000 or higher. 5,395 played.

The top bar average was 4,589. Props for BWW Flint for the win

There is a place for difficult games like Brainbuster... but not for well nigh impossible. Verily I say unto the forum..this is the one current game that Buzztime needs to either revamp or scrap.

on an unrelated note...Joel certainly knows his tools. Since I didn't play, I'm not sure if the grumpy lil guy is an expert on Kanye West or on kerfs

Scrap this terrible game. It's a good concept, but Immortal Words should be just that. This game is 80-90% RECENT quotes. I think that the words need to age a while before being considered "immortal". I don't know, maybe I'm off on this, but that's my .02.

Thanks for the compliments, Steve, but I had way more than a lil help (and at least a couple of very lucky guesses) this Thursday evening at Q's Restaurant in Oceanside, CA, one of the closest NTN Buzztime sites to the NTN Buzztime corporate offices in Carlsbad.

On the preceding Immortal Words game, if anyone wants a huge laugh, check my score. It took me until the tenth question to finally break 1K. Image Image Image

This was the worst "Immortal Words" in a long while, although they are usually over 50% garbage - this one was close to 100% - not one question could be considered "Immortal". Apparently the good game they had on Jan. 7 was an aberration. Perhaps they had a good writer fill in for a week or two for the usual one who was on vacation. The game has potential, but only if they make this writer stick to the weekend games.
