Just got an email: Score a VIP Party Schedule Swap Tuned In and Ask It Already are trading places! Tuned In will make its Thursday debut on 1/3, and Ask It Already will play Saturdays beginning 1/5. Why you ask? We’re testing out some new technology, and some of our games are not yet supported. This simple swap will keep the Buzztime experience seamless for everyone. |

And so dies the Saturday night entertainment block that we have so enjoyed for years. At one time, there were two TV games, three music games and a lively group in our bar playing them. Now, not so much |

What always gets me about these type announcements is the use of the exclamation mark, as though there's a huge group of players out there who will be delighted to lose their games. I'm sure there is some contingency of Thursday night players who will enjoy Tuned In more than AIA, and maybe some Saturday players who like AIA better. But for most players whose schedule is set by what games they most want to play, having a chosen game move to another night is something to be sad, not thrilled, about. And all to accommodate the as-of-now only two locations that have the tablets. I have nothing against AIA, and when I went out on Thursdays before, I did try to get there in time for it. But Tuned In is the better game. So now I have another reason not to bother going out on Saturdays unless I absolutely want to play the headliners. Brooke/AARDVK |

Good. Maybe I can start playing Tuned In again. Haven't played it because I can't stand Playback. |

The change sucks!!!! That is the better use of exclamation points than the way BT uses them. I have always liked Tuned In and now won't be able to play it. We don't play on Thur because we play Wed and Fri. or Sat. 3 nights in a row is not possible anymore. (it was back in the day when I played 5/6 nights a week, too bad the 90s are over)  Hope it's temporary while they get the tech issues even across the board. |
