When I would put up a solid, say, 23K against players at my bar, I knew I had bested four or five solid players. Is everyone with a score higher than that doing anything remotely close to that against a similar level of competition? Or are they the only player in their bar? Who can tell?

How fun would it have been had we played Speed Freaks on that late Saturday night in STL? LEWSER might have been like Howard Hessman in that episode of WKRP testing how alcohol affects reflexes.

One of my favorite episodes.

I agree get rid of the worthless speed freaks and get rid of ALL the phone apps. I have yet to see a decent real score put up by anyone on a damn phone. They are ALL just gaming the system, every one of them. You all know exactly who you are.

I played at a place last week that had soooo much lag that playing on the iOS app on my iPod Touch was actually faster than using any of the playmakers I tried. Unfortunately, I didn't figure that out until I was almost ready to leave... I had quit playing during Six, since it was impossible to change an answer if you didn't get it right on the first choice. I just talked to some friends most of the night, which was kind of a nice change without the distraction of the game.
