I have to agree with Dante here. I hate Trendalicious and won't be playing any of these games, but Michael Bay is a major contemporary movie director. Whether you like the teenage boy wish-fulfullment stuff he does or not, he is an important figure in Hollywood.

Good, succinct description of him. That's mostly why I don't take anything he does seriously.

But, if you are just in the mood for a good popcorn movie, loud noises, and explosions, I don't think he can be beaten. I take no shame in saying I catch the Transformers movies in theatre, for that exact reason. I don't even expect them to be passable, but I do so very much like seeing things blow up with rumbling bass behind them. :)
