Holy shiat. I like all of those. This has never, and will never happen again. Now the question is whether I can actually go out and play 'em.

World Flags, too funny. You need practice. Besides, they will all be island nations and
you will fail to reach 6000.

I'm horrible at flags, the number of countries whose flag I would recognize on site is less than 25.


Also, I'm curious as to what 'Live Acts' will be since we just had Best Live Rock Bands

I do so very much hope the Spiders and Snakes game focuses heavily on Spiders. Then my fiancee will no longer be able to make fun of me for spending hours taking pictures of every spider I can find. Right? Right????

Alas, I imagine she'll really just make fun of me for taking pictures of spiders _and_ playing with the big blue boxes.

It will be about snakes that eat cats and spiders that spit poison on people that take pictures of them. Also, just because you watched two horror movies on netflops does not mean you will do well on screen screamers.

The rest is not 'must-play' material for me.

World Flags and Alaska will be musts for me. Never mind the comments about how that latter game is at the wrong end of the planet for me

I like most of those, but since BT doesn't want me to play Topix on Friday anymore (by putting them before Playback) I will have to miss the games.

Any bets as to when / if buzztime will put the Saturday Topix game in the HOF?

We had a Topix on State and Provincial flags only a few months ago.

I apologize profusely for getting most of our Sci-Files team out for the first October Topix. We did not intend to beat everyone by that much (assuming it wasn't a misreport).

Whatever works. The only question of the 15 that I knew what the answer was wasn't even a science fiction question; it was the Moon of Saturn question; Titan immediately came to mind and it was one of the choices. Even Adams Mill, which usually does very well on Topix, had a bar average in the 8500 range, and they were still one of the best bar scores, so obviously it was a very tough game!

Now, don't you wish the Saturday Topix were in the HoF? Then you could brag a little more.

It was the one Saturday Topix I was interested in, but I had a busy day and couldn't make it.

I will be playing all the Thursday ones for the first month in a long time, barring unforeseen events. Needless to say I would not waste my time with the Saturday versions.

We thought that question was kind of funny. No idea why they could not include at least one other Saturn moon in there.

For what it's worth, that was just an incredibly brutal game. It was harder than any Sci-Fi game I can remember in a long, long time. The one good part, excluding the two Transformer questions, was that it wasn't filled with much pop culture, as far as I can remember. Some of those questions were awfully obscure, and required some film courses or literature courses to know.

It was very bad. Us at Adams Mill hit random buttons on every question and ended up #7. I think there were 2 questions that we knew and were positive on the answer.

That was a pretty good score for just random guessing. I wasn't there, but I would guess that Richte gave some educated guesses that connected; he seems to carry the Mill on Sci-Files...

Looking forward to World Flags and Alaska.
