This isn't sour grapes, because we got them right anyway, but three of the questions were off-topic. As the overall topic for the month is "Jumping Off the Page," and the specific topic for the night was "Historical Novels," to be on topic the question had to be about a work of fiction that was adapted for film or television.
Yet for two (the ones on "Charlie Wilson's War" and "Moneyball"), the underlying book was clearly nonfiction, and for a third ("Braveheart), the story was written for the screen, and only later novelized.
I've seen lots of off-topic questions in TOPIX games, but this is the first time at least I recall that Trendalicious has had that problem. And it's not as though there's a shortage of on-topic works to draw from.
