Why not multibox? After my one early-evening playing companion left mid-Six, I was in fact left playing five boxes alone during the Marathon round. And then ISSUES was able to arrive, so our two-headed team was able to work to a third-place finish in the National Park game
The short answer was that between the two of us we only had four registered BT accounts. Yes, we could have put up quite a bar score with a guest account, but seeing a diminished bar score the rest of the week would have sucked. So we decided to just single-box Topix, and when a third player joined us later, then we each started playing two boxes.
