Because they changed it yesterday obviously enough.

I have not needed to verify topix on a daily basis before. I am reasonably interested in cetology. Not at all in seismology. I'll double check on the day of in future. It was especially irksome because even immediately killing it did not give us a complete CD.

It was posted publicly on the Internet that the Topix was to be Whales and Dolphins, so I don't think there is a good excuse why it should be anything else. Next week was supposed to be Earthquakes, not last night.

Congratulations to Al/TWIT/BUNHED at Adams Mill for his perfect games, especially as he was the only one playing at the Mill last night.

Perhaps Buzztime was enlightened regarding the misunderstanding about Whales and Dolphins, but then they SHOULD have substituted a Cows and Chickens Topix instead.

I don't know when you all looked and saw that it was dolphins and whales , but I knew it was earthquakes. It said earthquakes on September 26, I know because I wanted to see if the 26th was a game I was interested in. I thought it strange that only 3 weeks of October was announced.

I was looking forward to Whales and Dolphins, although I felt the category was too broad to gain a comprehensive knowledge of it. Not sure when the last time was that I looked at the Topix page, but it was maybe three days before the game and it was still Whales and Dolphins.

What was scheduled was Whales and Dolphins on 10/02 and Earthquakes on 10/09. Both were Topix that I looked forward to playing...
