| Post subject: | Spelling Bee: The Lady or the Tiger? |
Ok, who noticed? After Q15, a question about the movie Akeelah and the Bee, the factoid came up that the movie was about a girl who set her sites [sic] on qualifying for the national spelling bee. My question: Did the writers put that in as a joke/easter egg on the way out of that game, or were they that illiterate? I honestly don't know whether to applaud or drive a spike through my head in shame. Any sufficiently advanced parody is indistinguishable from stupidity, and vice versa. |

I noticed that, as well. It's hard to tell with them and I'd rather not dwell on which the more likely possibility is because there's a good chance I'd end up going insane in the process. |

The question and factoid made it threw the BT spell chequers and that's awl that matters. It was just a typo that didn't get fixed. No big deal. However, glad I didn't play that game that was about anything Bee? |
