6 of the questions tomorrow will be:

What is the thickness in angstroms of the film on a soap bubble?

What percentage of narcissists have fantasies of being a film star?

Cellulose acetate film has what chemical formula?

Fantasy football experts watch how much game film on a monthly basis?

Art Glitter introduced its Fantasy Film product in what year?

Which Las Vegas casino has the Fantasy revue?

Somebody needs to explain to Topix writers the difference between topics and words....

Really? We were pretty busy, so I only looked up a few times, but I saw a few questions about actual knights and castles. I did notice the White Castle question, which I thought was cute, but I thought that assuming it was the only one. Was the rest of the game like that and I missed it?

Well, I didn't notice a huge problem, but there was "Which chess piece is castle-shaped?" And we got killed by "What author's 'The Castle' was posthumously published?" No Christopher Knight or Castle-the-tv-show or Knights-who-no-longer-say-Ni questions though.

Of course they could have gone to Six-level difficulty and asked which of these Welsh castles' names is misspelled?

We were also asked about choreographers, movie directors, and poetry as well as literature, chess and fast food

Has there ever been a PC Topix with 40% of its questions completely disconnected from the purported "Topic"? Seems to be about normal for Thurs games I've played lately, which is why I play far fewer than of yore.

Well, hell. Sounds like the OP is displeased that all of the questions were not specifically about castles or knights.

Seems that, in my twenty plus years of playing these games, that Topix games have NOT always been strictly about the title, and that just a lil thinking outside the box is needed. Am guessing that one of the questions asked something like which Las Vegas casino has castles (Excalibur, IIRC). IMO, NOT an unfair question to ask unless one has a godawful case of tunnel vision.

Strange though that this word-association only link never happens to Friday Topix. And why is it called Topix at all then? Also worth noting that their own description of the game refers to "a" theme. But I'm sure you have a genuine disagreement that is not poster-based......

I agree with Rhino. Otherwise, call it Tangentially Related instead of Topix. And make sure the entire category title is listed online. If I see "Disney Movies" on the site I don't want to see "Disney Movies Made After 2000" when I get to the restaurant. :P

They've PCed academically based Topix games since, well, forever.
I'm surprised you haven't built up the necessary amount of trivia expectation anti-bodies by now.
You and I both know they'll always do it this way, so I guess your point about the castle game is moat. Hah!
