You won't see Stained Glass Pub tonight for Modern Fiction. Should have played South Korea but missed it. Was it any good?

I’ll be tempted to venture out of my hole for the Ireland game. Played this topic back in 2013 with 5 boxes solo and swept both team and individual honors. Game was tough, think only 3 locations broke 10k. Playing 5 boxes on pads is a lot harder IMO than on the blue boxes.

I love the John Wick movies and tempted to play that one as well. Probably many perfs on that one though.

The St Patrick’s Day double header of Irish games were decent. The 1st game on Thur seemed easier and had more general questions. The Friday game was much tougher with more deep questions about the subject.

The results: there were only 3 bars that made the top 20 on both games.

Grumpys Too AR 11907 and 6720 for 18627.

Wingz OH won the Thur Emerald Isle game but wasn’t top 20 on Fri.
Torrey Pines NV won the Fri Luck of the Irish game but didn’t make top 20 on Thur.
Not sure what happened to Walsh’s, only played Thur. (2nd) Fri may have been busy at Walsh’s, just enjoy the crowds, get in there drink some green beer and play, most everyone else did.

BO may not have come out of his hole, I didn’t check TX as nothing much comes out of there recently, decent score wise.

I did not. Really wanted to play 5 and go for the double again but I've got no place to do that nearby. Had things worked out better would have ventured out and played one. At least that way I would have gotten to see the game.

As an aside, opened my new Golf Digest the other day and saw an Ireland advertisement with Kylemore Abbey front and center. Visited there back in 2011 and it was an answer during the Ireland game in 2013. Anybody remember if it was an answer this time around?

No golf q's on Thursday.

Topixpalooza double header 3/30 & 3/31

This week we had Beer and Wine then Comedy TV. Again very easy to see that there was probably different writers for each game. Like last week Thur was easier with more general questions and the possible wrong answer easier to eliminate. Fri was much tougher with some deep questions with most wrong answers being possible in our minds. Maybe Tom D is writing Friday but not Thur? Or he’s just going easy on us on Thur. Or Thur is pulled from the vast library of old questions? Plenty of beer qs in there.

5 bars in the top 20 on both games this week vs only 3 on St Pattys nights.

Walsh’s played both nights and won both. Stained Glass took a 5th and 3rd while Wingz had 2nd and 6th very similar to SGP but a few points back.
