I'm only looking forward to the Topix at the end of the month. Could do without most of the ones in the early part. And Autumn is spelled with an N.

Tim,

Yes, either Buzztime needs someone to proofread their web pages or there is a very obscure artist featured on 11/05.

Some of these Topix are promising; I look forward to the ones on 11/18 and 11/25. I suspect you will play the ones on 11/19 and 11/26. :)

Definitely the 2 I was thinking about. The Friday Topix are definitely better than Octobers. Did not like last nights "game" especially after they had a wrong answer. They asked which island Stingray City is on and the answer was Bonaire. Too bad its on Grand Cayman Island...Been to it and really enjoyed it.

None of those fire me up much. I will probably only play when I have a card to complete.

No matter how many times I hear this, I'm still going to laugh myself silly each time I do.

Well, laughing is better than crying.

Are they still doing those stupid cards?? Thought it was all over months ago.

Some of the topix seem interesting. Sports Anthems and Football Movies, I'll try to play.
New Hampshire is a cool state.

I'd like to play Prescription Drugs but it's a Thur...not good.

Question 1 from that game:
How much does a 10mg Oxy pill go for in Bridgeport WV?
1. $5
2. $10
3. $15
4. $20
5. 15 minutes with your sister/cousin/old lady.

Question 2:
Which gives the best high at the same mg level?
1. OxyIR
2. Percodan
3. Eukodol
4. Roxicodone liquid concentrate
5. Anything Tiefly has in his pocket :o

Damn ticks get all the glory!!!

BOTFLY was quite upset that he was not a featured question/answer in the "Little Critters" game. Instead, SPOTES gets a monkey question...bat rastard!!!

FWIW--expected a bed bug question with all the attention in the news lately.

Well, as one of the relatively few who went out and played Topix on Thanksgiving night, I found the game on New Hampshire to be excellent. There were no obvious errors. Nothing related to country singers named Tug McGraw, for instance. ;)

The only question that I bombed (for roughly 200 points) was the name of the notch (pass) where the Old Man of the Mountain was located; I figure this as the type of question that a native New Hampshirite would have known without even thinking about it. Generally the game was tough, but fair. It's unfortunate that it had to be scheduled for a holiday evening.

Yes.. well written game. Congrats (although he doesn't login here) to Matt/MEEE at my watering hole for the Gold - albeit with the aforementioned low competition. We struggled with one question (can't recall), and I listened to my buddy on another - GRAPES over GRANITE...and lost the silver medal  Ahh.. such is life...
