The letter D... Are they getting their topics from Sesame Street skits now? I know C is for cookie and that is good enough for me, but I don't remember anything about D.

Last May, The topic is the Letter S. and I mentioned it on the May Topix post that it reminded me of the Letter People.

I have to say that the 'D' topic last night was pretty fun. All the answers began with D and the questions were tough. Some answers were two words beginning with D!

Really varied content and no way to study for it, really. I wouldn't mind more Topix like that one. I didn't do that well, but it was quite challenging.

I wholeheartedly agree. I got too busy to play after the first round, but I got to look up at most of the questions and I was impressed.

What did all of you think about Scandinavia? Tough game but we had enough people at the Adams Mill to get a 14K average. We reasoned out a few answers and it was a great team effort. I ended up #1 on it based on the Cheese question.

I don't know; I've never been there. But I would like to take a summer vacation and explore there someday, particularly Norway.

Seriously, the Topix was very tough. None of us would have achieved 14K playing individually.

Really there were only four of us. You and Richte played two boxes; Rikr and I both played one. I believe each of us provided at least one answer, with Rikr and I providing the most answers. I noticed this morning that my box was 4th in the bar and also 4th on the NTN network, which is unusual.

For this, I dub you the name "Cheez Whiz"!

How did the "Exotic Locales" game go last night? What were some of the questions?

(I opted to stay off the roads on New Year's Eve.)

It was a lot of "Where did this movie take place" or along those lines. 1 question was "What company did Tom Hanks work for when he got stranded on an island?" There were some history type questions but mostly entertainment based. Rich and I did ok.

I was looking forward to the Scandinavia game since my mother was born in Norway and I've been there twice. Embarrassingly, I blew the first two Norway questions.

I thought it was a good game.
