Finally got to get out for scifiles once again and it looks like my game was right where I left it; sucking on the lit questions. :D
Missed the "Which is not by William Gibson?" question not realizing that Joe Haldeman was even still alive in 2007, let alone wrote The Accidental Time Machine. Also missed the Stir of Echoes original story writer. Should have simply answered with Matheson on sheer volume probability alone.
Other than those speed bumps, a fairly moderate game regarding difficulty level. The movie quetions were particularly pedestrian.
Scores seemed a bit lower than I expected. Which makes me curious as to which questions proved most ornery for folks out there?

We didn't have any problem with "Stir of Echoes" (I either read the book around the time when the movie came out, or at least picked it up in the bookstore and thought about it, so Matheson seemed right). We got the Gibson because COOGS took me off a book I couldn't ascribe to him and got us all on "Accidental Time Machine" (I knew Joe Haldeman was alive then, because he's still alive now, but I couldn't believe I'd missed a time travel tale by him--will remedy that immediately).

What got us was splitting wrong on Ridley Scott/John Frankenheimer, having no recall of "Total Recall 2070", and forgetting the name of the motel in "Paul" (for some reason, although both of us saw that movie and liked it a lot, we keep missing questions about it).

Congrats to SPOTES and 86th Street Pub for returning to the rankings.
