Missed the Quantum Leap question about "String Theory" (from the factoid, apparently a play on words not related to the actual physics supposition) and the Bob Shaw A Wreath of Stars question.
I'm struggling to guess what questions gave folks trouble this week.
The Incredible Hulk question perhaps?
Pre-called Menzies on the Things to Come question, but figured he would stand out like a sore thumb to folks that blindly go with the longest answer. And, boy, did he!

I went with String, but for some reason the rest of the guys went with "flux capacitor". C'mon guys

My inner pedant is crying to be free.
Your post should read: "...then bam, crappy Quantum Leap question".
Bob Shaw was in the #11 spot.
I apparently missed whatever comment you made to insult the trivia gods after question #10, but it must have been a doozy...

Sadly I arrived too late for SciFiles, but was able to make it for a decent score in Six.
