Judging from the lackluster top bar scores, it would appear that you guys, along with everybody else, enjoyed the 1/3 sf lit content about as well as we did. (Technically, one of the five lit questions wasn't about sf at all. )

The missed potential of this game makes me sad.

I didn't enjoy most of that game at all. Of course, I am not a SF junkie and hate the game anyway. All I can say about tonight's game is that I actually knew some of the answers which is rare for me.

It was a tough game from my perspective.

We didn't feel good about our score, 3rd was about right.

7 lit questions tonight along with two more that were half lit/half some other media.

And, of course, national scores were God-awful again.
Two weeks in a row with the winning bar score under 12K.
Is any other premium or lead-in game clobbering players that are specialists in its subject as badly as this game does on a regular basis?

Maybe I'm reading too much into this.
Maybe it's just a coincidence that the scores all tank nationally when the lit content reaches or surpasses 33% of the game...

By all that's holy, don't make me have to read this crap!

I thought that game was easily 13k - 14kable, if you had a varied team playing. We screwed ourselves out of about 2,000 points on sheer stupidity.

But no, I don't think your guess is off at all; I read a decent amount of Sci-Fi (and a lot of Fantasy) and some of those Lit questions they ask I couldn't even begin to guess at.
