Well, hell. While waiting this past Sunday for Lunchtime Trivia to start, I decided to try whacking away at PrePlay. :shock:

To put it mildly, PrePlay is not QB1. The first significant takeaway is that players can no longer predict the direction of plays. Further, at 3rd & 4th downs, players can only choose 1st Down and Stop. The distances for runs and passes have also changed, and my increasingly decrepit, fragile lil mind can't remember what they were. :( For whatever reason(s), additional predictions are added for PATs, results of drives, and starting position after kickoffs. :roll:

Maybe it's more than a lil appropriate that the logo for PrePlay on the helmet is PP. :lol:

Well, hell. My second time of whacking away at PrePlay was about as dissatisfying as the first. :(

Some additional clarifications/corrections; for pass plays, one may also predict an incomplete pass. On 4th downs, punt can be predicted (imagine that :roll:). So far, the most ridiculous thing I've seen is that, should a QB drop back to pass, then have to scramble and eventually gain yards, the play is called RUN. :cry:

Well, hell. A couple more differences between PrePlay & QB1 -

IIRC, consecutive correct call for QB1 are separate for the two teams. For PrePlay, no distinction is made. Image

There appears to be no recap of PrePlay scores across the network for each game. There are still recaps for QB1, such as they are at times. Image
