What is a $108,750 position in NTN in 1996 worth today?

(necro disclosure: this thread began in April 2021 to track Brooklyn Immunotherapeutics, the heir of NTN Buzztime. Since 1996, NTN reversed split 1:50, then 1:2 upon merging with Brooklyn, and Brooklyn has since reversed split 1:20 and become "Eterna" and now "Ernexa". After another 1:15 reverse split in June 2025, one share of Ernexa descends from 30,000 shares of NTN of 1996)

My 5 shares of Buzztime became 2 shares of Brooklyn and $2.55 cash in lieu of the half share of Brooklyn.

On March 31 this entire position was worth $2.55 + 2x($3.72) for an interesting round value of $9.99, about what the Buzztime position was worth.

Across April, Brooklyn went from $3.72 to $49.80, up 1239%.

My untouched Buzztime position therefore went from $9.99 to ($2.55 +2x$49.80) or $102.15, basically 923%.

Actually $80.67. Was watching the reddit fueled run up quite closely. They jumped on it after the GameStop saga.

A couple of days ago BTX announced they were laying off 53% of their workforce, that mounted to 8 people losing their jobs. So the company is running with 7 individuals now? Does not sound good. Price is currently $3.83 down from the irrational run up of $80+.

So won't they be in the same danger of delisting that Buzztime spent about 20 years in? I still hold 2 shares. Wow the cash I got in lieu of half a share is worth more than the holding.

BTX closed at $0.75 today (5/11/22) before climbing to $0.80 in after hours trading.

BTX currently at $0.5144. The overall market isn’t helping matters.

BTX closed at $0.3616 today but up to $0.37 in after hours trading. Was ~$5 at the time of the merger in March 2022.

and they're going to push through another reverse split to avoid delisting.
That would end up finally liquidating my lineal remains of the $1000 / 250 share NTN position from 1996, which now consists of 2 shares of Brooklyn and $2.55 cash. I'll end up with about $3 cash.

Yeah going down the same road as BT. I was hoping they had come up with good cancer fighting product that would be of a little interest.

Well i guess that cashes me out involuntarily, although I haven't seen any notification.
So here's how the math stands going forward without me: In order to now be an owner of one share of this Eterna whatever, one would have needed to own 2000 shares of NTN in the mid 90's, for about $7250.

Price currently at $1.39, the equivalent of 7 cents pre split. Has taken a nosedive lately.

Stock price cratering over the last month. Currently at roughly $0.31 per share. And that’s after the 1 for 20 reverse split 2 years ago which took it to approximately $5.

Bo, are you still in the Addison area? My wife and I stayed behind the Magic Time Machine on Beltline about 10 yrs ago, just so I could come over to play some games at Stadium Cafe. Ah good times.

No, Covid pretty much was the end of trivia for us. And we were the only reason for Stadium to keep trivia so they understandably dropped it. I had played there regularly since 1996.

But yeah, really good times.
