Yes, it works fine now, but I'm not.

We had 8 devices using our home WiFi and the same site last night for playback. We had no issues and played the whole game. The game itself though had a repeat headliner round of the 1950s which was played earlier in March.

My router provides 2 wi-fi connections. They are 5G and 2G. The 5G works almost flawlessly, the 2G not as well. It disconnects more often and has timing issues. An example would be: a question will appear and before you can answer it will give you the answer and to you no points. The 5 G is fine as stated above.

They were still listing Movie Night & Pop Culture trivia on the Saturday schedule even though they got moved to Friday many months ago. Guess they finally got around to correcting it.

As for the premium games... it's unclear if Spotlight was offered last night either. I checked the gameplay history in states not under shutdown orders, and those players all had back-to-back Countdown games after Topix (when Spotlight would normally air).

But guess we'll find out more easily tonight since Playback is on the app while Spotlight isn't.

On the website, Playback is no longer listed for Saturday.

That could suck. Might ruin my Saturday night.

Thankfully, there was Playback...minus a round of Triviaoke.

Yes, it did play, despite the lack of listing on the website. I suspect that BT has few employees working now so it will probably have more issues.

So what was the headliner for Playback?

Also the Topix from Thur and Friday?

Missed both Topix games and Stained Glass Pub had a crash at the beginning of round 2 of Playback for the 2nd time in 3 weeks.
This time one other bar in OH was playing CD with us when it came back up. Playback is the only game where Stained Glass Pub has a crash, very strange that it's at the same point of Playback. (but not last week)

Thur Topix last night was Celebrity Business or some similar title. Probably a repeat but not one I had seen. Danny Ks 1st, Chicago Sams 2nd, Stained Glass Pub SS number 6.

Never did hear what Topix was last Thur or Fri.
Playback was One Hit Wonders headliner repeat round from 2018 according to Clark.

Yes, a number of us played at Danny K's, got together using 'Zoom'. Luckily we had some players that were very familiar with celebrities.

Last night's SIX game had over 600 players, first time I believe that number has been reached in any game since mid March. Prior to that the number had been in the 900 to 1100 range. (post BWW drop)

It does seem possible that the only non repeat games are Lunchtime, CD and Late Shift, all computer generated out of the database.

Is SIX actually running repeats? I hadn't been playing SIX much before the virus hit.
I know Playback and Topix are repeats from various lengths of time back.
Not sure about Glory Daze, History, Tuned In, and the rest of the once a week games.

Is it really all repeats???

Also is anyone back playing in the bars yet??? If yes what's the set up/bar rules for distance etc? Or do they not care at all like in WI.
Maryland bars are closed except for take out and will be for awhile.

For the last few weeks, the Six games have been at least mostly recent repeats.

The History games have not, nor has Brainbuster.

New York City will probably not have open bars for at least a month, but I don't see how a
bar like Mad River could even function with the social distancing rules that are sure to go into
effect here.

I'll be interested to see if Spotlight shows up in any bars tonight. Probably 2 CDs will still be on instead.

This week, the Six games were not recent repeats, but the History game was.

Saw some Spotlight scores from last night.
Apparently it's alive & well if you can find a bar with a working Buzztime.

Anyone else have the Buzztime app revert back to the mileage lock for ALL locations EXCEPT Buffalo Wild Wings which still lists 0.0 miles?

yes - unable to play here in CA. I get the "We're sorry, but you wont be able to play since you are too far from this location." message.

The BWW where we had been playing over the past month (BWW in Southington, CT) had been listed as 0.0 miles until tonight, when it was listed as 14.x miles, but I was unable to play there tonight as I was “too far from this location”. Another site that was 0.0 miles had “no games available” leaving only one site that wasn’t a virtual bar that was available for us to play. And after Topix, even that place suddenly became unavailable! The only place left was the virtual NYC bar.

Same problem with most of the RayJs regulars in Minnesota. My site finder on the app shows me 2.6 miles from my nearest site. Any chance this problem can be remedied over the weekend?

I put in a call to Buzztime to see what's up.

If something happened during Topix as ZZUUPP says then it sounds like a break down.
I hope that's the case and not something planned. I know the 20 mile radius wasn't going to be forever but I don't think BT would end that quite yet.

So does it seem like the old 2 mile radius is still good?
Also, is this seen by everyone or can some people still play from home and see 0.0 on the app?
Here in Maryland the app is showing the old mileage to the bars.

For us without a site within 20 miles, be nice if Buzztime would let you log in to the closest site!
