Pretty much the names I expected to see.

I think that it's terrible that some individuals alluded to TIEFLY's potentially being mistaken when he indicated earlier that he saw the Beta Test of these rankings.

Congrats DTHDLR on leading on the first day. :)

Well that's just sad. I mean celebrating a sign that you have no life. 2500+ badges? What antisocial losers! Clearly anything more than, just to pick a number at random, 1467 badges is way too much!

Yes I'm being sarcastic. Yes I have 1467

Next, I would like to see a badges-per-question-attempted statistic. Number of questions attempted is already being accounted, so this should be easy.

After that, if BT has a way to flag debut questions, I would like to see badges-per-debut-question-attempted. I would like to see at least one debut question guaranteed in every game, although that's about 40 per day and maybe they don't add that many to the database.

Does anyone have any guess or impression or truth about how many questions do get added fresh to the database per any unit of time? (questions repurposed from premium games would not count). Likely a trade secret for BT but do you think it's over or under 40 per day?

When I was a newer player I attempted to determine the size of the Countdown question database, and my estimate based upon frequency of repeat questions was 150,000 to 300,000 questions. Assuming linear generation of questions from inception of the company until then and continuing now, that would've been about 10-20 new questions a day, not 40.

That's still approaching enough for one new question every game...that would be a great goal.

From my decidedly anecdotal viewpoint, the database seems to get a question batch added about twice a year. This usually includes both new material and clumps of previously used questions about certain topics like Canada or cars. The database will also occasionally get large batches of old questions dumped into it, like what happened when they revamped CD at the end of February.
The active question database for CD used to run at around 200-250K questions.
I assume that is still roughly accurate.
I have no idea as to the size of BT's overall question volume.

It's surprising to see all the 86ths. Guess we'll never see LEWSER, DTHDLR, etc being beneath their dignity, even though they rank top 20 some games.

I am confused why my name was listed above. The reason you will never see LEWSER is I won't play any stupid Buzztime game until premiums are once again national, never again. If I played tomorrow I wouldn't miss the top 20 in the shitty ENCORE Feed.

I wish there were a state/province tag, so that I can more easily compare my activity with others in my state, people that I actually know (or at least meet on a regular basis.)

Not too surprising, surely.
STEVE, who also plays BBNURS, and TURBO, who also plays DRYRUB, play all of the time. The bar would charge them rent but I don't think the owner could take the loss in revenue compared to their tabs.
A high volume of games + knowing a vast majority of them for 1000 points = a crapload of badges

I'm pretty sure the boys used to play premium games before the advent of badges, Mitch.
They don't play them often. But I suspect my newest young padawan MKRCHD convinced them to stay since he's fairly good with country music from the last 15-20 years.
