Now its getting ridiculous....the last two POTW including this week's is using props in order to win the POTW.

this week's winner ("GVA" - Vancouver, BC0 wore a fighter jet's helmet and glasses

last week's POTW ("MIKAZY" - Oxford, MS) wore a football helmet.

Its mainly Facebook driven, not about being the best Buzztime player

Based on your avatar, Mitch, I'm not sure you're the right person to lodge a complaint...

I was thinking of using a live sheep and a pair of boots. Should I not submit that?

I'm almost ready to see if BT will be honest.

If I make and buy a Cafepress T shirt with big bold letters "Normal Age/Weight of BT Trivia Player" emblazoned on it, I wonder if they would choose it even knowing my 20 year history and decent ranking. My guess is that's a 2% chance.

For those who do not know me personally, the description is accurate, trust me. Just not what they want to admit.

Only if you tuck the back legs into your boots. That's what the pros do so they can't run away. That and the clifftop too.

Well, hell. Neither of these last two POTWs has any recent playing history.

Maybe, just maybe, NTN Buzztime has removed their history and replaced it with the (assumed) glowing, bogus write-ups that show on their FB page. Something tells me that neither could survive a one on one match with most (if not all) of us here, amongst numerous others.

POTW is just another gurgle as BT goes down the drain.

My stats haven't been update since before I went to 'palooza last week.

But my THe play has more than doubled of late.

Sad.

I'm not sure why you are surprised.

Other than bogie, I haven't heard of any other entries.

You won't see me enter the POW thing until I change locations. Wouldn't want to be seen holding a tablet...they might view it as an endorsement.

Well, hell. Another POTW with lil if any recent history, and what are sounding more and more like fabricated allegations about their playing prowess. I can only hope that, assuming this is true, that no one else is being fooled other than whomever at NTN Buzztime is getting paid to promulgate this crap. Image

He is on his way to a perfect Showdown score.

At least this week's guy has an admirably geeky handle.

Real stud for this week. Less than 30k P+ points and a CD average of under 6k. Haven't seen a pic or anything, but am I to guess with a name like JU1CY_J this player is a young blonde wearing pink warmup pants?

Now, if she's hot and showing cleavage, I'll have to reevaluate my thoughts.

Well, hell. IIRC, whatever cleavage she may have had was hidden by the blue Playmaker.

If anyone here is good at photoshop, they should create a fake player, get it up to 10-20k players plus points, and submit a picture of some sorority chick at a bar with a playmaker photoshopped in. You could probably do this every week and get endless amounts of Buzztime bottle openers and XXL t shirts!

NTN used to have bars submit photos to be shown on the network.
One bars across town in Indy had a photo with super hot chicks posing with PMs.
The guys wanted to go check it out, but I said it had to be a ruse. There was no way this many hotties were playing trivia and I wasn't going to be a party to this kind of nonsense in any way, shape or form. I abjectly refused to let that photo trick me into driving all the way across town. I wasn't going over there to be made a fool of and that was final...

So, we're playing there the next week...
and are informed that it was lunch time lingerie models posing as players for the photo.
sigh...

At Time Out #2 in Webster, TX they used to have Lingerie Night and another night was Bikini Night. Best part is that it wasn't the normal trivia player crowd it was college chicks. Then I can't forget 'power hour.'

P.s. JETHRO unlimited XL, L, and Medium shirts because Buzztime knows their base do well.
