From BT: Hardtimes MD is a test site once again, we are always on the list.
We'll see how it goes and GOD knows what else is in this software "upgrade"??

Dear Buzztime PlayersPlus Member,

As you may be aware, for the past seven months, Buzztime has been preparing to convert our players' Buzztime log-in process from a PIN/Handle model to a Username/Password model. The final steps are currently being taken to complete this transition, and we'd like to take this time to fill you in on what you can expect in the next few weeks.

Your Buzztime home site is part of a test group that will receive a software upgrade beginning February 23. At this time you will no longer be able to use your PIN/Handle to log in and play Buzztime games. If you have not upgraded by the time the new software is in place you will need to add a Username/Password to your account before you will be allowed to log in.

The network-wide rollout of this software will occur on March 9, with all sites adopting an exclusive Username/Password log-in model at that time.

PLEASE NOTE: If you have a Username/Password that you use to access your player information on Buzztime.com, you're already upgraded. Simply use that same log-in information when you log in on the Playmaker and you're ready to play! If you try to upgrade and a Username account already exists with your email address, your Playmaker will let you know! The Playmaker will tell you the Username associated with your email address, and if you cannot remember the Password you can reset it on Buzztime.com!

If you still use your PIN/Handle to log in to our system and you don't have a Username/Password for Buzztime.com, you have two options to upgrade your account:

Click here to upgrade your account online (recommended)
You can upgrade your account via the Playmaker:
Prior to 2/23 - Log in with your PIN/Handle and then follow the steps on the Playmaker screen when it prompts you to convert.
Get the PDF instruction sheet!
On or after 2/23 - Select "Upgrade Old Account" from the main menu on the Playmaker screen and then follow the steps to upgrade.
**You will not lose your exisitng PlayersPlus points or medals. This upgrade will simply change the method by which you access that information.

I was able to get a fellow competor to get his p/h upgraded to u/p.

I ended up asking for help from the BT site to get BOTFLY account switched over. I've never was able to activate/post from that account.

Hope to get a response/help today.

I've been logging in the new way for the last couple of months and have had no problems. The gripe that I have is that there are too many screens to go through to get logged on to play.

I have been logging in both ways. The old P/H way was quicker but have been doing the U/P more often of recent.

I'm wondering about all those players that are behind on reading about this.
There will be tons of them as we know.

Also what other software upgrades are coming with this? and how bad will things get screwed up.

I got GRIFF from Baxters to go to username/password. Since our buddy Sean got rights to griff, his username is GRIFF06.

I always followed the correct prompt for my son's account and could never update it on the playmaker or the computer. It took Krazikatt to straighten it out. I bet that is all they get done every day, updating accounts of people who can't do it themselves.

I'm ready. Both my accounts have usernames and passwords with only numbers. But I'm still doing ninety percent of my logging in on the old system.

All the logins have worked just fine. It just takes a while to get to start playing. I remember the old days, when a login and password was entered, then one could start playing.

Apparently, we were a test site also. Only two people had problems. They could not remember their passwords.

Just got the email that TGIF-Lou will be a test site 3/3, with network rollout 3/9.

That is confusing. I thought the pin/handle loging was going away March 1st.
