On the buzztime site this morning i see several people that don't normally have avatars are now sporting an anti Trump avatar. Upon closer inspection there is a face on the flag that looks like the signature of the hacker group Anonymous.

I noticed this as well. Seems to be limited to top 100 or so accounts on the player plus leaderboard and a few accounts belonging to Fshman at Old Chicago Louisville.

It is also showing up on some accounts that are in the top leader boards for countdown and lunchtime trivia that are not part of player plus leader board. This is very sad on several levels. I hope Buzztime can correct this issue.

Saw this and just tried to log in to my account without success. "Username and password do not match or you do not have an account yet." This is fun.

Mobile Playmaker is also having issues. Why would Anonymous want to hack Buzztime? There are a lot more better secret establishments to hack.

Are the Trump avatars showing in the bars? Liljol should be starting his playing day in AZ any minute now with his new avatar. Anyone in the east playing yet? A few Trump avatar folks are getting LT badges in South Carolina so I guess they were able to log in and are playing. That is funny and the point of the hack to get the avatars on tv screens across the country. Hilarious

No one in MD got hit. Everyone in the top 100 pplus was hit except Bug in MN. Top players in many games and other assorted players.

Bud and Opiee still in CA, not far from Carlsbad. Should I go knock on their door and wake someone up.

I had trouble logging into the tablet this morning, but after a few tries it let me in. My account has an avatar, so nothing changed there. No other players where I was at.

LILJOL was headed back to the Site Poor Backyard this morning, so I doubt he will play today.

It looks like BT is fixing some of the avatars slowly. Also, players with avatars were affected, not just those with no avatar. Individual pages are fixed but game rankings pages still have some Trumps.

Whoever did this seems to have some idea of how BT works.

Well, hell. First heard of this late Saturday. :(

Having just returned to Buzztime's Site-Poor Backyard from The Site-Rich Valley Of The (Not So Hot) Sun, those FTRUMP avatars seem to have disappeared. :) However, I could not log into the Buzztime web site with my username & password. Hopefully a phone call to customer service Monday morning will solve that.

The problem must be fixed.
I just checked and, sadly, my avatar still looks just like me...
Instead of wasting their time with this nonsense, what these hackers should be doing is breaking into the database and erasing all of the questions about Canada.
Priorities, people!

Let's not forget this isn't the first time BT's site has been hacked. IIRC, back in the days of the BT forums, somebody publicly stated their server wasn't secure and then proceeded to prove such.

Frequently on my tablet when connecting to the Buzztime site I get a warning the site is not secure. Anyway, think I'll pay cash instead of ever using the card swipe on the BT tablet if I ever encounter a place where it is used.

Why would anyone hack Buzztime? They are so inconsequential to even bother with....

Donald Trump avatars are back for the 2nd Sunday in a row. Not as many are showing as last week. BT still working on server security? Or just fixed the avatars last Sunday with no added firewalls.

Anyone actually seen the Trump avatars show up in a bar?

Well, hell. It happened again earlier this week. A number of avatars were trumped again, this time with Nazi swastikas added.

It took this lil old grump several password resets to *finally* get his long established account working right again...hopefully for more than a lil while.

I didn't have the honor of receiving the avatar, but did have to reset the password.
