I take that to mean BT is putting itself up for sale.
Maybe to Ziosk, Presto or Tablesafe, all have presence in the big chain restaurant table top world.
Or there is HQ if they are just trying to sell their question database.

The stock is up 17% today.

Well that's the type of announcement that will cause employees to send out resumes. Maybe BWW gave them an answer.

Some previously unmentioned potential suitors: LiveXLive or Reach Media - NTN stock is up 18% today compared to the DOW being up only 0.10%

So why do I think this could possibly relate to Buzztime? First, they put themselves up for sale last year. Second, the LIVX founder, chairman and CEO Robert Ellin was the only major insider Buying up NTN stock in September and October when it was tanking and impending the loss of BWW

Yesterday NTN went from $1.25 to $4.50. Then as high as 7ish after hours following the report the NYSE had signed off on their plan to bring the company into compliance. Today trading was halted for a bit and it’s known that BT filed a form 8-K indicating another party is interested in a transaction.

Regardless, something big is happening.

Stock price is all over the place. Spread has got to be enormous. For the second straight day volume is in the millions which seems preposterous.

Thanks for the update. I bought a token share of NTN for $3.20 a while back, and just a few days ago it was sitting at $1.00. I could have made a cool $4 on my investment if I had sold it in after-hours trading.

A potential buyer, or perhaps a potential chain thinking about installing it?

It could be both: a chain looking to buy the company for the product and whatever IT NTN may have on its newest tablets. At its current market cap it’s not the biggest stretch.

Or some entertainment tech co. wants to make the next HQ trivia app and BT has the huge library of questions ready to go and a functional app.
