New Scaratings

Many years ago (2007-ish), The Fellowship actually adopted an official Team Motto. We wanted it to be a statement of timeless wisdom, and we decided no words were more sage than those provided by a nurse who was playing with us at the time. Someone on the team translated it into Latin to give it more gravitas, but its basic, eternal truth transcends both time and tongue, particularly right about now:

"Si umidus est, et non est tibi, noli tangi."

(“If it's wet and it's not yours, don't touch it.")

So if you opt to break up the cabin fever by going out for some trivia this week, keep calm, wipe down those boards, and play on.

Surely.

Two days in a row with no new cases of COVID-19 in Wuhan: is this a delimitation? Or just one of those freak things, like my hometown Timberwolves winning back-to-back basketball games?

I'm hoping for three in a row.

You and me both, although I think it speaks as much to the power of a police state as it does to best hygienic practices.
