Well we are about to lose 50% of our players as the current app goes dead on Tues.
You will have to download the new BT GO app that appears to not allow gps spoofing.

I admit I play at the bar and then from home sometimes because of the far distance but that seems to be ending next week. My bar was fine with that because they know I spend a ton in there.

A good thing, Good bye to Richek and his games.

Everything else is bad, you won’t be seeing Stained Glass Pub much any more.
LT and CD daytime will lose 75% of the players.

It’s the start of a new NTN/Buzztime era. Good luck to them, it will only survive with massive numbers of new locations close to everyone. It doesn’t help that BT just doubled the price of the streaming system from 25 to 50 a week.

Last day of remote LT and CD. I know there are a ton who play LT at 11am before the bars open.

i wonder how many LT and CD players know today is the last day before the old app is turned off?

This will be the 2nd most famous single date in NTN history after the day BWW's contract ended.

How many games will Stained Glass Pub win? 2nd place on the 11am game. Houligans FL won. SGP 1st place on 1130 and 1145 game.

This will show my technical ineptitude: I assume we will not be able to use the app while sitting at the bar?

You will be able to use the brand new GO app while sitting in the bar but it seems to be very glitchy so far. Many can't download it and others can't get it to work sitting in the bar. Q6 lockup is prevalent. The current old app is getting turned off overnight tonight.

Stained Glass Pub won 3 of the last 12 LT games of the remote era. 8-) White Street also won 3 games. Surf bar 2.

The new GO app seems very glitchy and tough to get working if you can even download it. Must be in the bar.

I'm afraid this app isn't ready for prime or any other time; it keeps crashing after a few seconds before you even log in.

Where did you hear that tomorrow is the end of the world as we know it? I did not see that on the Facebook page.

I tried to use it at the bar but it showed me 0.46 miles away and said I wasn't at a location so I switched back to the old app. Seems they were so worried about the GPs spoofing that they forgot to test most anything else (if they tested at all).

I always thought the 8/7/08 split would be #1.

The split was rejoined after too long of a wait. But it was fixed. The loss of Bww has not been fixed many years later. This could be fixed or worked around, we’ll see.

BT sent an email a few days ago, to all email addresses I assumed, announcing the current app was being turned off tomorrow and to download the new GO app. I would say anyone having problems with the new GO app to report that to the Buzztime FB page. Lots of trouble just getting it downloaded. Then false messages like Brutus got that player was not at the bar or to turn off Mock location that wasn’t on. Frequent lock ups on Q6 also.

This needs much more testing at the least and should probably be scrapped all together.

Well, old app is still on. Maybe they realized too many problems with new GO app. I played both apps side by side at Stained Glass today. Logged in fine with email, no crashes. Main thing is no rankings of any kind, local or national. Blank boxes reading top 10 did show. Needs to be top 20.

Also problem with long 2 word possible answers cut of to 1 word. Jerry Bruckheimer on old app read only Jerry on new app. This happened 4 or 5 times per game. That has to be fixed.

When I left the bar with new Go app on I could play (yes while driving) but when I got 3 miles away it went blank and showed my bar in grey there after. So unlike old app you can’t just leave app on and it stays connected to bar. Gps spoofing is also detected and won’t let you in.

So remote is done on GO.

Remote play is still working for me... I think BT knows the Go app works very poorly. And that it can't play the most popular premium games yet even when it DOES work.

Bud, yeah I hope they fix this. Buzztime Streaming also only displays the Network Top 10 after each game which differs from the Buzztime Elite's usual Top 20.

I got error messages when I tried to log in remotely this evening.

Same here. I got home from the Sandbar, and I can't get back from home.

You can get through if you keep trying. One person on my team said it
took him a hundred tries, but it eventually worked; others had a much easier
time of it; all got through. Looks like a programming error.

Yes there was problem last night it seemed. I got the oops there’s a problem message but closed the app and went back in and it took about 4 times before it went through though showing 0.0. Haven’t tried this morning.

Keep trying it will go through.

Yup -- it's working now. False alarm
