Why is it that the Stanford Cardinal are not getting their proper respect as the best team in the NCAA? I know the rest of the PAC-whatever is really weak, but I don't think many could argue that Stanford doesn't deserve more first place votes.

I have no affiliation with the school, but I think it is great that the "Harvard of the West" is able to recruit such great players. Stanford has always had the most elite of all college sports programs... winning the Directors Cup year after year and now the football program is climbing to the top.

I don't think there is a single poster from this site that can argue that Stanford is the greatest college in the country.

I am almost certain he went to Stanford. He always calls Cal, "That Damnable Junior University". Joel seems too smart to have gone to Cal; what would he have learned from there? How to properly tie your shirts before dipping them in dye? How to run the wrong way down the field?
