If you don't know what Wikipedia is, sorry.........google it.
And I promise not to go into a long discussion as to "why" I researched this topic on Wikipedia
I went to the site and looked up Eeny Meeny Miny Moe. On this page, there is a Films sub-section. I thought, Hey, I know a film that has those words. I went to that section, but I didn't see the film I was thinking.
Mind you, the vodka is flowing. I know it was Mel Gibson, pointing a gun at some bad guys. He pointed the gun to one guy and said "Eeny", then moved the gun to the second guy and said "Meeny", then pointed the gun to the third guy and said "Miny", then pointed the gun to a fish tank and said "HEY MO" and fired.
Most people who are drunk, and many more who aren't, know which movie this is. This isn't the reason for the post. YES, I can look it up the name of the movie, but I'm wanting to know. How does one update Wikipedia to include this fact on their page?
Thanks
odaY
I've never done it, but I believe that you'll need to go to the subject and click "edit" at the top. It will provide a link to a "New Contributor's Help Page". That should proobably lead you through the process.
BTW, the film is
Lethal Weapon 2.Hope that's helpful.
Thanks, Spotes. You do have the correct way to edit the Wiki page. I went into the page, and almost made the change, but decided not to, because of a note/comment on the page:
PLEASE DO NOT LIST films WHERE THE RHYME IS USED BY A CHARACTER, UNLESS IT MAKES SOME OTHER POINT; THERE ARE FAR TOO MANY
Yea, I think there might be "some other point" to using this rhyme, as it helped Mel Gibson's character escape, and was rather interesting to see a kid's nursery rhyme in an adult movie, but having polished off too much of a cheap bottle of vodka, I really didn't want to try to post the comment on wiki. Maybe after I sober up. And sleep. And wake up. Then do some yard work. Then go and buy a 12 pack of............nevermind.
