I'm intersted in knowing what Android apps are used out there, and what people think are the most popular/cool to use.

Specifically, I'm currently looking for an app that would figure out where I am, analyze the stores in my immediate area, and tell me if any of them have a good deal available. I'm getting ready to go on vacation to Destin Florida, and would love to see an app tell me what restaurants where near by, and what I could do to get a discount on a meal.

Suggestions?

Mine came preloaded with something called "Places" that does most of that - links to store (and bar, park, museum etc) reviews and websites rather than deals directly.

The best I have found/downloaded so far is "Stitcher" - a podcast utility. buggered if I can find the BT one.....

I'll look those two up. I went to market place on my Sprint htc Evo, did a search on buzztime, and the Mobile Playmaker showed up with no problems

I found Places, which is okay, but didn't do the deals part that I was hoping to find. Not much of a pod cast person. I use iHeart Radio and TuneIn Radio during the day, and am able to listen to radio stations around the world with TuneIn

I'm enjoying the two scrabble-like games, Words with Friends and WordFeud. Anyone know if there is a Monopoly-like game for the Android?

Gonna bump this one back up again.

Looking for more suggestions on Android apps. What do you like best on your Android phone. In addition to the regular fun games and useful tools, I'm looking for "social" games like words with friends and wordfued. Two Scrabble-like games are fun, but was hoping there are other games out there that I can play against random opponents. Specifically, I hope there are games like Monopoly, chess or backgammon. Not much into card games, and don't want to do the "create your own world" games. More like board games where after 2-10 days a winner/loser is determined.

Thanks
