Looks like a tragic result from here, and just when the USA seemed to be on the verge of joining the company of civilized nations whose citizens care about one another.

If so, does this open the door for Jenny McCarthy?

That's not true.
Some of them care about their mistresses.

The USA will never be Civilized. We believe in the individual, not the slave of the state.

What's worse? Sarah Palin being one heartbeat away from being president or Nancy Pelosi being two heartbeats away? YIKES!

Yeah, that's a close one.

Lessee...which one of the two, based on her behavior in high office to this point, couldn't even be trusted not to quit the job of president, if it were given to her?

Which of the two is on video having some witch doctor cast a spell over her in a church?

Which of the two has a husband who belonged for years to a party that wants its state to secede from the U.S.?

I could go into all these other things about dishonesty and misuse of her office to harass ordinary citizens, and dallying with financial matters unbecoming an aspirant to high office, but the arguments would be more drawn out.

The three things I listed aren't in the slightest open to dispute. And they add up to, all your yikes don't amount to pitcher of warm spit, as the saying goes.

IMO, Sarah Palin. She seems to be the worst possible choice of anyone in the political realm. I'm not a fan of Pelosi's (in fact, she's in the bottom 10 of politicians for me), but I'd take Pelosi over Palin any day of the week.

I rarely ragged on GWB for his mental shortcomings, a guy only has so much spare time (besides, the next politician that I see who's smarter than me will be the first). And given their similar flair for foot-in-mouth disease, I've been fair in treating Joe Biden the same way. But I'd worry about the person that's only one heartbeat away if I were you vapid.

I typed that numerous times, and kept erasing it for fear it would give too much offense. Since it's already been said:

Virtually everyone I know who thinks Sarah Palin is "hot" has the standards that come along with being over the age of 50. I could, should be bored enough, come up with quite a few tens (hundreds?) of millions of women hotter than she is, who aren't vapid liars.

I try not to step on peoples' toes politically, as I understand for many people politics is a game no different than Football and they are really excited about their team (and approach it with the same rationality), but I can think of literally nothing nice to say about her, other than Tina Fey is a much hotter her than she is.

Speaking of politics, check out who was on C-span after the Super Bowl tonight:

I didn't know about Scar's previous career. Sounds like he had the right stuff. Definitely isn't showing his 84 years.
