So, I am in lesson 3 and my minds drifts to BT and Scaratings:

Subject matter is Definitive Articles with Nouns and Pronouns, starting with the word "The"
El is The if the subject noun is masculine singular.
Los is The if the subject noun is masculine plural.
La is The if the subject noun is feminine singular.
Las is The if the subject noun is feminine plural.

A noun is feminine if it ends in a before adding an s to designate plurality, otherwise masculine. All plurals end in S.

Teacher is asking for combinations.

I am asked for a Masculine Singular.

I immediately respond "El Puko !"

The room got REAL quiet.

EGADS!!!

I laugh everytime I see EL PUKO or FOOBAR THE MAD as an answer choice.

FWIW--A week or so ago, I about drowned myself in lite beer when a question about royal marriages included the the choice of TIEFLY IV.

The thought of three more generations of 'tiefly' is what had me laughing. Marriage...not so funny.
