I know some folks think this is useless, but upon occasion I like to post mine, at other times another post makes me want to pull out a song I hadn't thought of in a long time, and at other times I have no idea what young people are talking about.

So, without further ado:

Padlock on the Blues, John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers

Queen of Hearts, Gregg Allman, Live Version "The Gregg Allman Tour"

Early A.M. Attitude, Lee Ritenour & Dave Grusin

Help! The Beatles

Born to Love You, The Fabulous Thunderbirds.

Keep You - Sugarland
Taylor Swift - Tyler Dean (this song was about as bad as I was expecting  )
The Call - Matt Kennon
Already Gone - Kelly Clarkson
Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart - Alicia Keys

Mostly a list of things I hadn't heard before and was checking out on random play, so I can't attest to the quality of the bands overall, but:

RJD2: A Beautiful Mine
Lacuna Coil: Our Truth
Lacuna Coil: Closer
Alesana: Curse of the Virgin Canvas (ok, this one seemed horrible)
Some really weird song by a Satanist band that I don't know the name or artist on because I turned it off so quickly (sounded like "RAR RAR RAR RAR RARRRRRRRRRRRROWLLLLLL") I assume it's a Satanist band since the image associated with the song was a bleeding pentagram. :/

It's probably safe to say that's NOT the same version as the one recorded by Human League? :P

Hells bells, as if I needed any more reminders how old and grumpy my poor tired lil ass is. Image

Of the last two lists, my increasingly decrepit, fragile lil mind recognizes only one in each. Image

You should make a return trip to Getaway Cafe -- we had a Cher impersonator there last month :) . She was surprisingly good. I gave her about 8/10 or 9/10. She's apparently a DJ & lead singer of a local band. I think she's returning in April (maybe even the week of the WV bash?)...I'll have to check on that this weekend. I'll keep ya posted.
