So, what do you think. Was she really singing live?

Sounded like a mix of live AND Memorex to me... Sorta entertaining, which is more than I can say for most of the past halftime shows...

I couldn't care less about football or Madonna, but I thought the digital graphics on the stage were stunningly cool.

I thought the music was canned and all the effects were great.

Heck, it was even hard to tell if that was real Madonna or a digital Madonna. If Madonna really wanted to save some time (given that they used her pre-recorded vocals anyway) she should've just given them a digital version of herself

Really did not like her new single. It's one thing when a 35 year old (Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl") is trying to come across as she's 18. But it's quite another thing when a 53 year old is trying to come across as 18

I can't imagine this will be a hit in America (unless the kids bite on it solely because of the Nicki Minaj assist).

But I'm sure it will hit big in Europe since they seem to love this stuff.

The visuals were fantastic, although having all those centurions step like AT-AT walkers to bring Her Empressness to the stage was rather hokey. Not as hokey as the glittery World Peace at the end, though

Did anybody else think that tightrope-bouncing guy looked far too much like Richard Simmons? I still feel a little uncomfortable in my tenders thinking about that part of the act

It was a refreshing change to NOT see a few hundred select fans crowding the stage, hopping about like Pepe Le Pew on speed

I'll rate this year's show three eggs out of five

Heard she made a unappropriated gesture that reminds us of "Nipple Gate"

Can't say I've really heard of this M.I.A.

Not too often a musician's name could also describe her career, I guess

I thought lots of performers lip-synced at the Super Bowl shows.(?) I too thought it was a mix of live and prerecorded lyrics. I've never heard of that MIA person that thought it would be appropriate to flip the camera the bird. Now she's famous for something because apparently it wasn't her singing since no one seems to have heard of her.

Of course I was THRILLED with the outcome of the game. The halftime show was okay in my opinion but I grew up with Madonna so it was entertaining to me, lipsynch or not.

I was too busy stewing over giving up that last second touchdown to end the half to even be entertained by the halftime show. But the Giants were down in every Super Bowl they've been in and still won 4 of them now. Way to go G-Men!!!!! I thought Belichick stewing after that game was far more entertaining than the halftime show anyway.

What a great idea for a New York-area eatery to offer as a monthly special
