Thank you ICEMAN, that was very nice of you. Yep, I turned 66 on May 17th. I actually lost track of the date, and it wasn't until quite late on the night of the 17th that my lady friend said, "Keith, today is your birthday!" Nobody, but you and my lady friend realized that it was, not even myself, any of my kids, or my three younger brothers thought of it. In years gone by, my mother always remembered, but she is now in a nursing home, and has lost all touch with reality.

When I was quite young growing up in Geneva, NY., the worst thing I could threaten another kid with, who pissed me off, was "I'm not going to invite you to my birthday party!" Today that threat doesn't seem to pack the wallop that it did back in the early 1950's.

Thank you again. Your post was one of the best birthday presents anyone gave me.

On the original "ScaRatings" I believe there was a thread where people could put their birthdays up for all to see and know. Does the "New ScaRatings" have something like that?

Thanks Frank. I didn't expect anyone on the "ScaRatings" to know, let alone care to wish me happy birthday.

What I wonder about, is how anyone knew it was my birthday, but worse yet, how will I know when other people's birthdays come up. Is there somewhere on the "ScaRatings" where this can be found?
