I an so sad about missing your birthday. My computer died three days ago. (Looking at the clock/calendar, it is now four days.) I just got back on the "ScaRatings" today, and am trying to catch up with things that I missed.

(Sorry, when I picked your cake up at the Kroger's bakery, I found that they had misspelled your name. They offered to remake it at no additional cost, but there wasn't enough time for them to do it and get it back to the "ScaRatings" in time for your birthday.)

I know you must have enjoyed your birthday with all of those presents and things. However, there is a sad side to having birthdays. You are now one year older. That's one year closer to someday having a birthday in a nursing home, and not understanding why someone stuck a candle in your banana pudding.

IMHERE, thanks for your concern. I'm fine now. My damn ulcer decided to open up. The hospital pumped a half gallon of blood back into me, and sent me home after four days. The worst thing, besides not being able to smoke while I was imprisoned there, was some God damn tube they rammed down my nose into my stomach, that they refused to remove until the second day I was their prisoner. Hell, I'd take waterboarding any day, before having to suffer through their rubber hose up your nose torture again.

Actually, it was ICEMAN, who gave me the idea for the "Happy Birthday Thread", after I had missed somebody's birthday. I really don't want this to become a Cloudy thing. I'm hoping that more of the guys and gals on the "ScaRatings" take a moment to check out who has a birthday today, and post something on this thread, when they see one.

Nobody wants their birthday to go unrecognized, and every once in a while, I think it will put a smile on someone's face, if their "ScaRatings" buddies wish them "many more".

It was tough to get this cake out of Krogers. After their bakery was done creating it, I had to take it to their pharmacy to get approval, before they would allow me to take it out of the store. The pharmacist advised that the cake should not be eaten while consuming alcohol.
