We can't let the coffee drinkers and tea sippers hog the forum. Buzztimers were meant to consume alcohol - at least after noon hour. Offer each other Good Cheer. Any comments, thoughts and tasting notes about your favorite libation would be appreciated. Tried this one while watching the superbowl: Beau's All Natural Lug Tread Lagered Ale. Very nice. A lagered ale means that it is top fermented like an ale but then cold aged like a lager. The best of both worlds. Too bad they will be dumping the cool ceramic bottles and switching to glass soon ![]() sorry about the size of the pic but the other photo I have is blurry |

You are correct sir! A Bourbon "Barrel" Porter to be exact. I soaked a couple ounces of oak chips in some bourbon for a few weeks and threw them in the keg to secondary. Turned out nice. ![]() |

What is it, $4 Billion a year California could make if it legalized pot? I think it is about time. And lower the drinking age to 18-19. Beer recommendations: Bell's Double Cream Stout Bell's Porter Founder's Porter (my personal current favorite) Pilsner Urquell Michelob Porter Michelob Marzen Three Floyd's Gumballhead Various European lagers and pilsners like Spaten, Paulaner Premium Pils, Weihenstephaner, Stella Artois, and Peroni New Belgium 1554 |

The same company owns EVERY package store in town and Walmart and CVS don't have much of a selection. Gonna try Hopslam and the new Blue Moon, whatever it's called, tomorrow (payday), as well as buy some more Founders and the Sierra Nevada Glissade, sounds like it might be interesting. The somebody Milk Stout is supposed to be good too, it might have to wait until next time though. The Boat, Sport, and Travel show is coming this weekend, gotta have some $ for it. |

The "55" is only 2.9% alcohol I heard, making it a near beer. Drink up, kiddies! They served Kingsbury Near Beer in my dorm once. Donk! |

My Mrs. prefers MGD 64. When I drink water, it's Coors Light. I never became a fan of the whole MGD thing. When I can find it, I'll choose old school Miller High Life over MGD. |

Let's see,FAT TIRE on tap $8.00 a pint on friday night [had 6 ] = $48.00, on SATURDAY I picked up a 12 pack of COORS BANQUET,$7.99 ,although the COORS can't compare to FAT TIRE for quality,it goes down alot smoother because of the price. ![]() |
