Starting in 2016, the SATs are reverting back to a 1600 scoring system. The essay portion will be optional. But here's the kicker... they're also going to make the questions easier (more relevant to today) and eliminate the negative scoring for incorrect guesses. In other words, buzztime was ahead of its time!  I can see the smoke steaming from BO's ears

This comes as no surprise to me, as I've witnessed the American education system dumbing down for about 50 years. I guess that with students, who don't know shit, it makes sense to give them a SAT to take that doesn't ask shit. If they didn't dumb down the SATs, these kids could only get into colleges that didn't require shit for admission. I know that this will never happen, but I would love it if it did. It would be interesting to have today's high school seniors take the SATs from 1964, and see how well they score compared to the scores of high school seniors 50 years ago. Let's see how much trouble this gets me into... p.s. Sorry that it took me so long to post a comment on this thread. I was wasting my time posting to other goofy threads. |
