Geeks who Drink trivia game show premiered tonight on SyFy and is Hosted by Zachary Levi. So far its pretty good, and its filled with decent trivia.

Drink N Think sounds good. 8-)

Just finished watching Geeks who Drink. Overall it was a great show. Most of the trivia was sci fi related, but it was well written IMHO. Add that to a few laughs, and plenty of hydraulic refreshments, I give it an 8 out of 10.

Saw a Beta Version? at palooza. I DON'T think its just a rename of LS, but then again, it was at palooza and past my bedtime.

That would be a more fun name, but even better would be if they started it later at night so that those of us who want to play Countdown against the reunited network would have more opportunity to do so. It was sad on Saturday when the Triviapalooza people were forced into LS right after Speed Freaks with not even a single CD. Those of us in the Central Time Zone had to wait an hour to play against them again, and the waits would have been longer for the Mountain and Pacific people.

It's good that the split is gone for the premium games. There will be little change for a lot of the other games in the west as there will still be too few players for the games to count.

One of the reps told me we were the guinea pigs for the Drink n' Think graphics. The gameplay is exactly the same as Late Shift, but the visuals are much more eye-grabbing

Mint green wavy lines, reminiscent of '80s Aquafresh toothpaste commercials, with magenta, pale yellow, and brown accents, all in a circus / Coney Island carnival motif from a century ago. Player avatars and handles appear in a classic admission ticket-shaped frame as the scores scroll by. Why wasn't I smart enough to take any pictures?

I kinda liked it, but I bet more people would dislike the scheme than like it, and nobody will have a neutral opinion!
