That was a good read bigdog. Last year I helped my daighter get her first car, it is an 01 Olds Intrigue. Olds is a good car, and I feel she is safe in it (well as safe a 17 year old can be anyway). I too remember, and miss the Service Stations. As a kid the attendant used to give me a piece of double bubble bubble gum when my folks filled up there. News papers have all but gone the way of the Dodo, which provided me my first job delivering the daily rag. It is sad knowing that kids these days will never have that oportunity. |

We get the newpaper delivered 7 days a week. Also when driving through NJ we get full service gas at a cheaper price than anywhere from Maryland to Maine. Oregon and NJ still are full service only. Attendants and newspapers aren't dead yet. |
