For a long period of time I tried to sell a puzzle I had designed to newspapers. I learned that newspapers typically aren't receptive to innovation. They toss in a few classics (for low to no cost) and shift focus to the journalism. Suddenly a thought occurred to me. For every town that had a paper who said no, maybe a few people from that town would individually say yes. Then I got the idea to add few more puzzles to this first and now flagship puzzle, just so I'd be offering a more well-rounded product for people. Over the last few weeks I've been working with an artist to get this first issue done and it's coming along nicely. I hope to launch in October. You guys are some of the smartest people I know, so many of these puzzles may not faze you. However, I will try my best to stump you in the matching game, which is basically a mini trivia game. I'd really love it if you guys gave it a shot/spread the word to people you know who like puzzles. Thanks for reading. |

I've actually launched the magazine! www.topplemag.com As I mentioned in my last post, there is a hellish trivia game included. I'd really like to hear your thoughts on that game in particular but the overall magazine as well. My aim is to deliver a quality product week after week. |
