MILTON BRADLEY ejected from a spring training game again! I guess some players work on hitting,some on running,some on their fielding,and some just continue on their road of stupidity.
He will be missed here in CHICAGO, he was a perfect fit for the CUBS,losers of a feather stick together. :lol:

2009 overall #1 draft pick Nats' RHP Stephen Strasburg Optioned to Double A

LHP Aroldis Chapman of the Cincinnati Reds could be the opening day starter

Defending WS champs New York Yankees still don't have a 5th starter

St Louis Cardinals still don't have a clear cut starter at 5th starter and 3rd base.

Anything to add, GUYS?!?

I myself took a passadena on WHITE SOX opening day tickets, I am content watching at home or in a bar.

Pat Venditte pitched 1 1/3 innings for the Yankees yesterday. Gave up a run on two hits and a walk.

Would not be a big deal, except that he pitched both left-handed and right-handed during his outing:

I don't have anything to add about spring training. But I have an old-timer story: I was playing STC at Damon's back in 1995 and a question comes up "Which player hit a home run in his first at-bat but never hit another in his career?" I figured that they were asking for Hoyt Wilhelm before the answers came up, so I hit it when it showed. A stranger sitting at the table next to mine leaned over a couple of seconds later and said "It's Hoyt Wilhelm." I told him that I was on it. He asked if I was familiar with Wilhelm, and I said "You bet. Why do you ask?" He told me that Hoyt was his grandfather and got out his wallet to show me pictures of them together over the years. What are the odds? Of course, the baseball historian in me couldn't let him get away without suggesting that his grandpa could have had a bigger slice of baseball history if he would've grooved one to Maris in game 154 in '61...

I just want to ask that if anybody corresponds with that idiot asshole Colin Cowherd, who said the Dodgers should be alright this year 'cause their division is so weak, could you kindly inform him the West was the strongest division in the National League last year? It's amazing how some people don't know how to do basic arithmetic. There's only one caveat, and that would be you have to factor in that the divisions play different AL divisions in interleague, and the NL West did get the AL Central, which had none too good a year. But, taking that into consideration, the West was 30 games over .500, the East was 20 games under, and the Central was 34 games under. I think that margin negates the interleague factor, except possibly between the other two divisions. Keeping in mind, that all could change in the blink of an eye...must be all this free agency, but I'm pretty sure the West went from strongest to weakest in one year a couple of years ago, and back again. Doesn't speak well for consistency, but there it is. I'm just tired of putzes like Cowherd, who push the common wisdom without the slightest honest analysis. He's such a Common Wisdom Priestess, it's pathetic. I enjoyed catching him in an illustrative contradiction: West coast teams are less competitive because life is so easy out here, says he. Ok...then he says during the Olympics that Canada is a loser compared to the U.S. His way of pointing that out? That all the best Canadian entertainment talent comes to Hollywood. Yeah, dumbshit, it wouldn't be because the big money is centered here or anything. But wait! Hollywood took away the movie industry from NY-NJ early last century. Could it be because of our shooting-friendly weather? Can't be, according to Colin! It has to be because we're tougher competitors than New York! But that can't be, 'cause our loser teams are so much less competitive! Help me Colin, I just don't know what to think!!!

My question is how will they fare in a way different enviroment then the Metrodome? Most of us WHITE SOX fans [and even OZZIE GUILLEN] admire the fact that the twinkies are always bringing up talent from the minors to replace the talent that they lose via free agency,and they always play hard. It's a shame that teams can outbid on players that you have the smarts to draft,it's sort of like robbery.
