The heart of our Showdown team at 8th St. Grill in Minneapolis and one of the kindest men I've ever known passed peacefully Tuesday night. Tom "The Tailor" Dale was an inventor, leather artist, motorcycle enthusiast, and a beloved friend and father. He will be missed more than I can possibly express.

The Visitation is Saturday from 4-7 at Washburn-McReavey funeral home's SE Chapel (2nd and Central Ave SE). Here's the obit:

I've played at 8th Street several times, but never had the pleasure of meeting him. Sorry for your loss.

I have been to the 8th Street Grill many times, but only during happy hour, and never have had the pleasure of meeting him. My condolences on your loss.
