John "JONDOE" from the Steer Inn in Berlin MD has passed away.
He was a long, long time player on the Eastern shore of MD. He played with GOD & BEA the last several years at the Steer Inn.
Before that he and his wife Dorie "DORITO" played at Red Eye Frogs in Ocean City and before that at Mulligans Ocean City.
OPIEE & I played with them many times over the years, John was the best host there was. He would go out of his way to get us seats or boxes and get us into the group of players. His stories about his International job postings were always intriguing.
John was in his 60s and was an Air Force veteran and worked for the DOD after that, before retiring.
From the obit in the paper:
"Mr. Camp was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He had worked for the Department of Defense in Fort Meade, Md. He enjoyed bowling, shuffleboard, golfing and was an NTN Trivia enthusiast."
RIP JONDOE.
