Tomorrow would of been Scotts birthday. I went to post on his Facebook page and found he had passed away of a head injury. RIP

I was very saddened to learn of Scott's passing.

I first met LEGEND when he arrived at TGI Friday's in Louisville on a Saturday night years ago. He had come to attend a University of Louisville afternoon football game against an unremembered opponent. He stated he didn't have a rooting interest but it was a real good game and he was just a fan. That attitude plus his obvious trivia chops led to a night of merriment (probably too much) and national rankings.

On my few stops into Indy I always tried to meet up with him, first at JD's Pub where he asked fairly reverently "Have you played with Spotes yet ?", and later around that side of town at 86th Street.

It was always a pleasure, and I will miss him.
