I have never seen this on any other forum I belonged to. I see someone or something logged in as "Google (bot) and Yahoo (bot). Can any explain what that is?

Those bots are automated web surfers collecting data to use in search results.

They aren't new, you just haven't noticed them before.

Some forums don't show them as logged in.

I left them showing as logged in to let you know the discussions are being indexed for search. Most forums leave them hidden.
