Didn't know Scar was bringing this site back before my comment on Buzztime.

I don't suppose there is any way to keep this from Harry?

Glad to see it up and running. Am I the only one for who it is running quite slowly? Of course that is probably just due to bad campus internet connection.

I was just noting the slow response time as well.

I started noticing it a few minutes ago. I don't know anything about Scar's webhost, so don't know if it's normal for them or not.

Scar's webhost tech support says the site is not running slow. I'd paste the whole chat here, but it would bore you. They said to contact them back if it continues to run slowly, after saying it wasn't.

Tech support said they can now replicate the issue and will work on getting it resolved.

A big thanks to Scar & Dante (and whomever else) for putting up this forum! I don't mind BadBart but the format/structure of Yahoo Groups is annoying to me.

This is much better. :D

I'll add my voice to the chorus: Thanks SCAR and DANTE for putting in the effort to get this up and running again.

I agree that thanks are in order for our three Louisvillians for getting this up.

After my initial pass through the threads, it seems pretty well set up to me.

Thank you so much to those involved in getting this site going. It has given me a trivia home and a connection to the community that was a big part of my life for what seemed like a long time but I know was not. I am feeling that connection here, I hope it continues to grow. Thanks to all the other trivia buffs who have made the journey here, too, I am glad to see so many familiar names.

Seems funny, started at nicks site and BB, spent most of my time on Scott's original site, then most of us migrated to ntn/bt, and now back to Scott's new one.

The nice thing about this that we generally policed ourselves, didn't have to worry about as much pissing and moaning and generally had people that were here because they liked trivia. We ribbed the newbs a little but not too much and there was a nice search feature that we could refer them to otherwise.

Anyway, to those us that were originals here hello and to the new peeps from bt's site, welcome.

Im some ways it seems funny, in other ways it makes me feel old, although my picture in the avatar still seems youthful.

Maybe this summer. We'll see what my part-time work schedule and budget allow. You guys still playing at TGIFs or Indigo Joe's?

Exactly as I remember it. I always said the quality of a BBS is just a reflection of its members, and I thought our group, though of some very different opinions at times, did a fine job of it.
