I don't think with the small size of this forum that's going to be a problem. Hell, I've been on forums probably bigger than the ones you modded, and that rule was simple enough most of the time for determining what got deleted or not.

I don't really think it will either... I think the single fact that this is a more public forum, as opposed to being hosted and sponsored by an individual company should really cut down on both the hostility, as well as the desire to stifle the hostility.

My hands are off! This forum belongs to someone else, and they can have it! It'll be nice to relax while reading comments rather than weigh how appropriate I happen to think they are.
My wife used to call it my second job, checking the forums. It was fun and I enjoyed it and I'll miss them a lot. I am sure these will keep the discussion going.
