See, you'd think that would work. I've moderated several web forums, and actually Buzztime is the smallest one in terms of active members that I've worked on, and you know what, I've found it just doesn't.

It sucks

I don't think with the small size of this forum that's going to be a problem.

Hell, I've been on forums probably bigger than the ones you modded, and that rule was simple enough most of the time for determining what got deleted or not.

I think the single fact that this is a more public forum, as opposed to being hosted and sponsored by an individual company should really cut down on both the hostility, as well as the desire to stifle the hostility. It'll be nice to relax while reading comments rather than weigh how appropriate I happen to think they are. My wife used to call it my second job, checking the forums. It was fun and I enjoyed it and I'll miss them a lot. I am sure these will keep the discussion going.
